In March, Samantha Farrell set up the Facebook page IOM Community Meal Donations to provide food for vulnerable people in the local community. Samantha appealed for donations to purchase food and supplies which was used to cook meals for elderly and vulnerable people in the Isle of Man. Overall, she homemade more than 1,600 meals in the space of just 11 weeks, delivering most by hand!
This initiative not only helped individuals living on their own, but on top of this Samantha dedicated one day a week to make 40-50 meals for St Christopher’s Isle of Man children’s homes.
We are blown away by Samantha’s extraordinary efforts and hard work.
